Starbucks wanted to drive excitement for the returning Starbucks for Life sweepstakes and showcase prizes in a way that was visually appealing, easy to navigate, and consistent with seasonal branding. The experience also needed to keep users engaged while meeting legal requirements without cluttering the design.

Pre-Sale Mock Journey

I directed the creation of pre-sale mockups, providing the design assets and guiding the interactive vision to align with Starbucks' goals. The card wheel concept was the key selling point, allowing prizes to appear on swipe or auto-rotate while keeping branding strong. These mockups were instrumental in winning the campaign. Once awarded, I integrated the official brand assets and refined the layout according to Starbucks' creative guidelines before production.

I directed the layout and interactive flow, ensuring the card wheel felt seamless and engaging. To create the spinning wheel effect, the green background was cropped into a circular shape, keeping the prize in focus. I also streamlined legal text with a "See Details" CTA to maintain compliance without adding visual clutter. The final ad delivered a clean, interactive experience that kept users engaged and highlighted the excitement of the sweepstakes.
